The board plays a critical role in Indigo Junction’s ongoing development and expansion, providing direction that keeps the organisation on strategic course to achieve our mission of ending homelessness in our community.
The Indigo Junction board is a committed team of professionals who meet regularly to provide strategic direction and monitoring to ensure Indigo Junction:
- Remains viable
- Meets legal requirements
- Meets financial and ethical obligations
- Delivers quality, culturally safe services that meet relevant standards.
The cumulative professional experience of members of the Indigo Junction board enables it to provide highly informed guidance on organisational matters ranging from complex governance, financial and funding expertise, through to capital works occurring on site. Current board members come from government, not-for-profit, community service and the private sector.
Indigo Junction welcomes enquiries about board membership from individuals from a wide range of disciplines, backgrounds and experiences, including people with lived experience. Being part of the board allows members to benefit and learn from working in a multi skilled team of people with expertise in business analysis, project management, psychology, disability, marketing, procurement, leadership, local Aboriginal culture and management.
