Karen Roberts serves as a Board Director for Indigo Junction, bringing extensive executive leadership experience across government, education and community-focused service delivery sectors.
Passionate about strengthening communities through direct service organisations, Karen currently serves as Executive Director – Workforce at the Department of Education Western Australia. Her previous executive leadership roles include positions with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Western Australia Police, and The University of Western Australia.
Karen joined Indigo Junction as a Board Director in 2017 and served as Vice Chair from 2019 to 2024. She also contributes as a member of the Risk Committee.
She holds a Master of Human Resources, a Master of Public Policy, a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
