James Hunter serves as Board Director and Treasurer for Indigo Junction, bringing extensive strategic, operational management and leadership experience across the health and community services sectors within both government and not-for-profit organisations.
James currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Cyrenian House, a leading not-for-profit organisation delivering professional, ethical and effective Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment services. His previous leadership roles include Director of Services Commissioning and Development at the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia, as well as Principal Project Manager at the Department of Communities.
James joined Indigo Junction as a Board Director and Finance Committee member in 2023 and was appointed Treasurer in 2026.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Management.
