John Mogridge serves as a Board Director for Indigo Junction, bringing strong cultural leadership, community advocacy and a deep commitment to empowering Aboriginal young people.
A Noongar man from Bibbulmun Boodja, with family connections to Yamatji and Yaru heritage, John has lived throughout Western Australia and is passionate about ensuring young people understand who they are and where they come from through culture and connection to Country.
John currently works with the City of Swan as an Aboriginal Partnerships and Development Officer, where he supports Aboriginal communities to achieve meaningful outcomes that strengthen both individuals and the wider community.
He has served as an Indigo Junction Board Director since 2021 and is also Director and Chair of Karlup Aboriginal Corporation.
