We deliver a range of services that address current and emerging needs in the community. Through the Karnany Engagement Hub and Karlup Engagement Hub, Indigo Junction supports street-present people and those directly affected by crises by providing access to safe, professional, and culturally secure spaces and services.
Our hubs have been designed to be calm, welcoming and culturally secure spaces. Our frontline staff have been trained in delivering professional, caring services and have experience working with highly vulnerable people who may have complex needs.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9-4 (closed 12pm – 1pm)
Karnany Engagement Hub is an open-door service for street present people and those directly affected by crises. It offers a safe place for clients to share their story. An integrated service hub, Karnany delivers a range of complementary services. Karnany also provides a base for external outreach services including Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counselling, 360 Street Doctor, and Street Law.
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 9-12
Karlup is a welcoming space equipped with a modern kitchen, shower and laundry facilities for community members to utilise on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings. It also has several office spaces, offering a safe and calm environment for service providers to meet with people accessing Indigo Junction’s youth and family and domestic violence services.
The hub is also home to the Moorditj Maaman Men’s Group who have helped create a beautiful yarning circle and outdoor space which is regularly used for community events, celebrations and consultations. Learn more about Moorditj Maaman and our other community programs here.
