Through various professional and voluntary roles, Ron invests his energy and expertise into growing and strengthening organisations that are working to build positive futures for people experiencing disadvantage.
Before turning to roles in the For-Purpose sector, Ron was the principal of a CPA practice. Since then, he has held executive roles with YMCA including CEO of YMCA Perth, National CEO of YMCA Australia and CEO of the YMCA of the Northern Territory until 2020. He has held Board and other governance roles with the Y since then.
Ron became an Indigo Junction Board Director in 2017 and has been the Board Chair since 2019. He is also a founding and current director of Karlup Aboriginal Corporation.
Ron is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Impact Measurement.
