Indigo Junction provides a range of specialist support services for people experiencing homelessness, housing crisis or other hardship in Midland and the broader North East metropolitan area.
Walking together, growing stronger
We support vulnerable community members by providing crisis and transitional housing, specialist support and outreach services – while building skills, capacity and independence. We also run a range of programs that focus on growing the strength and connection of our local community.
Support for young people
We can help young people experiencing crisis through the provision of emergency housing and practical skills education. Our youth programs provide specialist advice and support to those who need it.
Support for families
Families staying in our transitional housing are well supported within a safe and secure environment. They have access to housing and tenancy education, skills-building services, and individualised goal planning.
Family and domestic violence
Women experiencing family and domestic violence can seek support through Koolkuna’s domestic violence and coordinated response services and the Koolkuna women’s refuge.
Community services
Community members living rough can access in-house services such as homelessness outreach, emergency relief, financial education and counselling.
Our impact
Indigo Junction alleviates disadvantage and housing crisis through the delivery of dedicated, professional housing and community support services. Sadly, the number of instances we cannot provide support is still tragically high. During 2024-2025:

Emergency relief (food vouchers, meals and other essentials) were provided to people in need. We received 9030 requests for ER/support via the Karnany Engagement Hub.

People received family and domestic violence counselling and advocacy support through Indigo Junction’s Koolkuna Coordinated Response and Advocacy Service.
