Our focus is on breaking cycles of disadvantage by building parenting and independent living skills.

Indigo Junction’s Family Service supports families experiencing homelessness by providing not only a safe place to stay, but also the tools and support needed to create long-term stability.

We offer housing through two programs, designed to give families the time, space and support to heal and make positive plans following trauma.

  • On-site family units (parents under 25): Five self-contained units located within our Family Service, providing a safe and supportive environment for young families.
  • Transitional housing (all families): A limited number of community-based properties available to families of all ages and structures, offering medium-term stability.

Alongside housing, our team works closely with families to:

  • Develop personalised goals and housing pathway plans
  • Build parenting and independent living skills
  • Strengthen tenancy confidence and knowledge
  • Connect with specialist services, including counselling, health, education and employment support

“If it was not for the family service, I don’t know where I would be. The staff helped me through my tough times.”

CLAN Midland has been successfully supporting parents, families and individuals in the community since 1993, helping to strengthen home environments and build essential life skills.

In 2025, CLAN Midland merged with Indigo Junction, bringing their programs and expertise into the Family Service and expanding the support available to families in need.
