Our focus is on breaking cycles of disadvantage by building parenting and independent living skills.

Indigo Junction’s Family Service assists families experiencing homelessness by providing not only a safe roof over their heads, but also support to build their parenting and independent living skills.

Housing for families is available through two programs. These properties are available to families who need time and a safe space to heal and make positive plans after trauma.

  • For families with parents under 25, Indigo Junction has 5 self-contained units on-site at the Family Service.
  • For families of all ages and makeups, Indigo Junction has a limited number of transitional properties located throughout the community.

Our team assist families with goal planning, tenancy education, and creating a housing pathway plan. We also help families connect with specialist services such as counselling, health, education and employment services when required.

“If it was not for the family service, I don’t know where I would be. The staff helped me through my tough times.”

CLAN Midland has been successfully providing support to enhance skills and the quality of the home environment for parents and families with children under the age of 18 years and individuals in the community since 1993. In 2025, CLAN merged with Indigo Junction, integrating their programs and services into the offerings provided by Indigo Junction’s family service.
