Have a genuine impact supporting young people. Indigo Junction’s Youth Service offers tailored support to young people between 15 and 25 years of age who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our crisis centre provides 5 on‑site places for young people, and we are looking for qualified Youth Workers to join our team. You will work alongside young people accommodated in our Youth Service, supporting them to build practical skills such as budgeting, cleaning and cooking as well as personal development and wellbeing skills. We are looking for suitably qualified Youth Workers to cover a variety of shifts.

Key Objectives:

• To increase the capacity of women and children who have experienced domestic and family violence to live safely and independently in the community.
• Coordinate the facilitation of group programs and informal counselling that integrates with Indigo Junction to achieve positive outcomes for clients
• To support clients who have experienced trauma to heal through the delivery of recognised trauma-informed, therapeutic responses.
• To ensure clients are safe, support and increase their knowledge of confidence to reduce the likelihood of future crises.
• To ensure client outcomes are optimised through participation in coordinated interagency responses.
