John is a Noongar man from Bibbulmun Boodja and has family connection to Yamatji and Yaru heritage. He has lived throughout Western Australia and is passionate about young people needing to know who they are and where they are from through culture.
John works for the City of Swan as an Aboriginal Partnerships and Development Officer, supporting the Aboriginal Community to get outcomes that make a difference to them and the Community.
John has been an Indigo Junction Board Director since 2011 and is also a Director and CoChair of Karlup Aboriginal Corporation.
