Our Engagement Hubs

Indigo Junction’s Engagement Hubs are safe, welcoming and culturally secure spaces that support people experiencing homelessness, crisis or hardship.

Through our Hubs, we connect community members with a wide range of co-located and visiting services that support housing, health, wellbeing and recovery pathways.


Karnany Engagement Hub

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00AM–4:00PM (closed 12:00PM–1:00PM)

Karnany is an open-door service for people who are street-present or experiencing crisis. It provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their story and access practical support.

As an integrated service hub, Karnany delivers a range of complementary services and hosts external outreach providers, including those listed below.


Karlup Engagement Hub

Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00AM–12:00PM

Karlup is a welcoming community space that supports connection, culture and wellbeing. It hosts a range of community programs, including the Kwobidak Moort – Strong Fathers Program, as well as cultural and community activities.

The Hub is equipped with:

  • A modern kitchen
  • Shower and laundry facilities (available for community use Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00AM–12:00PM)
  • Private meeting rooms for service providers and visiting professionals

Karlup provides a calm, safe environment for people accessing Indigo Junction’s Youth and Family and Domestic Violence services.

It is also home to the Moorditj Maaman Men’s Group, who have created a yarning circle and outdoor space used for community gatherings, events and consultations.


Co-located and in-reach specialist services

Our Engagement Hubs are supported by a wide range of co-located and visiting services, ensuring people can access wraparound support in one familiar and trusted location.

These services are aligned with the needs of participants and delivered in both private and communal spaces within the Hubs. Indigo Junction maintains MOU-based partnerships to support service continuity, cultural safety, and coordinated care planning.

Services include:

  • 360 Street Doctor – Accessible primary healthcare (Tuesdays, from 9:00AM-12:00PM)
  • Holyoake – Alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselling (Tuesdays, from 9:00AM-12:00PM)
  • Mission Australia – NDIS application support services (Tuesdays, fortnightly from 9:00AM-12:00PM)
  • Street Law Centre WA – Legal support and advocacy (Tuesdays, from (9:00AM-12:00PM)
  • Foodbank – Low-cost meals and food hampers (Tuesdays, from 1:15PM-1:45PM)
  • Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC) counselling and trauma support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (Thursdays, from 9:00AM-4:00PM)
  • Health and wellbeing activities
  • Education support
  • Recreational and community engagement opportunities
