We encourage community members who are struggling or in crisis to visit our hubs during opening hours to find out about the support services on offer.

Indigo Junction delivers a range of services through our Engagement Hubs, calm, welcoming and culturally secure spaces designed to support people experiencing hardship or crisis.

Through the Karnany Engagement Hub and Karlup Engagement Hub, we support people who are street-present or directly affected by crisis by providing access to safe, professional and culturally responsive services.

Our frontline staff are experienced in working with highly vulnerable people, including those with complex needs, and are committed to delivering care with respect and compassion.

Karnany Engagement Hub

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-4:00PM (closed 12:00PM–1:00PM)

Karnany is an open-door service for people who are street-present or experiencing crisis. It offers a safe space for individuals to share their story and access support.

As an integrated service hub, Karnany provides a range of complementary services and hosts external outreach providers, including:

• Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counselling
• 360 Street Doctor
• Street Law Centre WA

Karlup Engagement Hub

Address: 15 Spring Park Rd, Midland WA 6056

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00AM-12:00PM

Karlup is a welcoming community space equipped with:

• A modern kitchen
• Shower and laundry facilities
• Private meeting rooms and office spaces

These facilities are available for community members to use, and the space also provides a calm, safe environment for service providers to meet with people accessing Indigo Junction’s youth and family and domestic violence services.

Karlup is also home to the Moorditj Maaman Men’s Group, who have created a yarning circle and outdoor space used for community events, gatherings and consultations. Learn more about Moorditj Maaman and our other community programs here.
