Why Indigo Junction?

Why Indigo Junction?

It was important that we had a name which reflected our service delivery philosophy, our values; our history and acknowledged our place in the local community.

The colour indigo reflects great devotion, wisdom and justice along with fairness and impartiality. There is great synergy between this definition and our values; dedication, accepting, creative and informed.

The Junction component of our new name both acknowledges our history and references our location in Midland. Our first youth service which opened its doors in 1980, was called “The Junction”.

Junction is synonymous with the Midland community, with the railway township historically being known as “Midland Junction”.
